Hey guys, as you can see in the title, I wonder what others think about this powerful "law".

I watched the "Secret Movie", very nice one, good info + practical experience.

First, I didn't pay attention at all, but every single book I read recently (Think and grow rich, Get happy, healthy and rich) contains a great info about Law of attraction.

All this stuff about positive thinking, mindset, belief, desire etc etc... makes a lot of sense.

I've never thought before about my mindset, my thoughts were all negative, that's why I remained broke.

Now I'm trying to follow the instructions pointed in Think and grow rich, has anyone tried changing mindset?

What do you think about it in general ?

P.S You may think there are lots of info but I care only about personal decisions and advices.

    Regards, lakimo.

Mate, you've read books and now watching movies to change your mindset? Do you really think you'll get rich by doing that? That's just a waste of time, if after a book/movie or two you're not getting anywhere then you never will after 10 books/movies.

The mindset you should have right now: stop reading studying mindsets and focus on your work, become analytical not a copier. It's like looking for the real rich overnight method.

Yes, I have. It won't fix your problems on it's own. It will give you the tools and the right attitude to fix them though. That's my take on it from experience over the last year and a half.

It's like that old joke about the drowning sailor who kept on praying to God to be rescued. Three boats passed him in totoal. When they tried to help him on board he told them not to bother as God would rescue him. Soon after he downed and went to heaven. There he asked God why he hadn't rescued him to which God replied that he had sent three boats!

Changing your mindset is imporant, don't kid yourself that it's a quick fix. It's like giving yourself a great foundation to tackle life with.

I've found that no matter what you do (at least to the best of my knowledge so far), if you don't make the effort, nothing will change your mindset but yourself.

    The main takeaway is this:
The mind is a powerful tool that can help you achieve what you want, however the "tool" is useless until you put it to work by taking action.

You can't just go around doing nothing but visualizing a bunch of money coming your way. But working on something and taking action while thinking about success and good fortune, will really help you get closer to your goals.

Law of attraction, the way it's explained makes it look like some "black magic" or some sort of mythical knowledge...this is the wrong way to look at it.
If you really want to learn the "law of attraction" the best thing to do is find out the science behind it, Once you find out the science behind it study it.
It's nothing special about it really but the world we live in dumbs down your thoughts of being anything you want in life so your trained at a very young age to "THINK" you can't

Take a child in school, and the teacher ask him, hey what do you wanna be when you grow up? and this child says I want to be a famous actor or actress the class or teacher might look at him funny, The teacher might even reply back to him with something like this "ummm lets think of something else because that's a little much" those words will set the scene for that child thoughts and his everyday action regarding "being a actor or actress"

If that child doesn't have a huge amount of self esteem he or she might settle for just working at walmart but if that child does have enough self esteem then the universe will create that reality for that child 1 month, 2 months or 18 years from those very thoughts.

Again I say!! study the science behind it quantum physics and really understand what makes things become a reality "nothing is a accident"

In my opinion, yes, it works!
At least I can say that my life has pretty much changed since I watched the movie a year ago.
Actually I remember my first day after the movie and, to tell you the truth, I was surprised how the way you think can affect your life. That positive energy you make really make a difference.

Of course, it's not like you're going to become rich after watching a movie, however, it should change the way you think thus making you live in a different way.

I agree that you get lazier when you visualize what you want regularly, but this article smells bad because they don't get the point. Visualizing must be backed up with faith and belief, these things are need only for motivation, when I visualize sitting in my dream car RR sport, I want it more and more and go back to work, even if I'm resting. That's about mindset too, if you think you can achieve everything only by thinking, you're fucked up completely. It should help you motivate yourself, not get lazy.

For those who are dead-serious about Law of Attraction should avoid reading, "The Secret". Instead check out Napolion Hill's book, Think and Grow Rich" or "The Power of Positive Thinking" by Normal Vincent. The Law of Attraction nothing but focusing upon your thoughts towards what you want and attracting those things in this process. "Think and Grow Rich and The Power of Positive Thinking explain the same theory in a scientific manner. It's sad that "The Secret" tries fooling people by making them believe that Law of Attraction is some black magic of sorts.

On another note, it's useless to read tons of books and watch a plethora of movies if you don't put your knowledge into action.
"Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Willing is not enough; we must do." Goethe

It works. Thinking at least is some form of taking action. Better to think than not.

No, it not. First was MAGICK. LOA and Secret only digested form of that knowledge brought to the masses. Quantum physics go beyond reality of this world, that's a fact.

No, it's not. Actually â„–4 works.
