Your simple method to make your site faster but still have a good design?

my only problem is when it comes to ads, without any ads my pagespeed insights score would be 100.

but my revenue only good with ads, so i cannot remove it.

I use these:

- I use VPS from Vultr
- i use cloudflare
- Theme: Neve
- 18 plugins active (i need them all)
- including WP Rocket and Imagify to increase my site speed.

I heard many people recommend ShortPixel for image optimizer, but I have Imagifiy, which one is the best?

The differences between such services/plugins are actually minor,
some just do have a couple of better features (like webp),
You can't really make anything about the ads as all of the requests are externals, the only thing that could be made on your end is to lazy load them, which will result in losing a part of the earnings

yes lazy load on ads just gonna decrease the earnings, it sucks

Ads are out of your control. If your pagespeed is blasting but ads make the website slower, then ads are the only ones that need optimizing, and they are out of your reach outside the lazy load.. so there's not a lot you can do. I am kind of in the same boat as you.

in your niches, is the number 1 site running google ads or is it based on affiliate links?

Neve is probably the one that you can reduce quite a bit.

Hire a developer or use like Carbonate or Acabado theme that doesn't have a lot of CSS junk and bunch of framework customization.

Then there is nothing to blame with your site since the ad is reducing the page speed score.
Try out the following,

Use Ad Balance feature.
Remove matched content ads
Disable page-level ads (auto ads)
Disable rich media content in display ads
Add a fewer number of ads on the pages with more scripts running.
Monitor the speed with Google Analytics
Defer ad script using WP Rocket plugin in WordPress
