It's wrong. It's a year off, but close.
Close, but i'm 31 years old.
PS: Just found the image to post on my facebook pages
Not 100% foolproof, though pretty cool.
I can't seem to wrap my head around it though, not sure how people come up with these things...
Yeah pretty close, I think its off by a year.
Yeah, it seems to be a year off for me as well but it was interesting enough to do though
It depends on when your birthday is. If you've already had it this year, it will be a year off (it's based on 2012). If you haven't had it yet (like me), then it will be correct.
To base it on 2013 (aka, you've already had your birthday this year), V. Add 1013
yea mine is off by 1 year
yes, and also there is only a finite number of answers, which on average,
the mathematical equation outlined will yield a plus or minus 1 or 2 years.
Hahaha it really works. Amazing.
No... not true.
My answer comes out to 1049 which is significantly different then the answer posted above - and my Wife's answer would be even more off.
If you look at the math - you're doing 2 things - adding 1000 and 1012 (or 1013) and subtracting your age - that gives you the last 2 numbers - the whole shoe size thing is just a distraction. If you do that math, all it is doing is taking your shoe size and multiplying it by 100 (first you multiply it by 5 and later the whole thing is multiplied by 20) - so it shifts the shoe size to the hundreds column.
A nifty trick - I always enjoy math problems.
Am I the only one who thinks this is stupid?
Your shoe size can NOT tell you how old you are. However, your shoe size and the year you were born obviously can. People who are a year off are off for a reason: This picture is probably from 2012. Try adding 1013 instead of 1012 lol.
nope it should add 1013. this image is a year old thats why its a year off
Nice share dude, but this is a real old school trick, I did this with my friends in my school life.
Here is some more math magic
Damn! One of my feet is slightly larger than the other one
Remainder was 923 and it was right. Wtf :|
hahahah nice math.
It's an easy fucking gimmick. Subtract 1013 instead of 1012 and VOILA - your exact age (increment by 1 for every year from now on). You're basically subtracting your birth year from the current year lol.
Separate names with a comma.
