I always buy domains at namecheap. They have a good customer support and everything is smooth and easy.

Something else than namecheap? Something that doesn't donate to Ukraine when I buy? (I don't want to go into detail here but I'd prefer to decide myself what causes I donate to, rather than being forced)
 
Namecheap does the same thing Godaddy does. They snipe domains that you look at. So be sure to buy it if you’re looking it up on their platform.

I have bought at Namecheap a fair amount though. Also, @Nargil is a good provider of domains.

You can also try:

- Hostgator
- Bluehost
-ExpiredDomains.net
 
I ditched namecheap long time ago they are no good.

My preferred registrar is NameSilo.

I see Porkbun mentioned a lot by good members. Worth checking out if you do not like Namesilo.
 
It been a time since I bought my last domain on Namecheap.

From the people's reviews, it doesn't seem like a good place to buy.

But still, I have my all domains there.

Most of my domains I hold at Namebright because they are the cheapest. $9.15 for new com domains and renewals!

A few others (new gTLDs that Namebright doesn’t have) I registered at Uniregistry. Unfortunately they were acquired by GoDaddy, so now they are there. I’ll probably move them this year. Where to? I am actually opened to suggestions, maybe Namecheap?
 
Check out spaceship dot com . It’s also owned by namecheap but domains are sold at dirt cheap prices. Another one to consider is cosmotown for the cheapest renewals if you can live with the slow af UI. Namesilo is good too but I don’t like their ancient UI.

Yeah, namesilo is stuck in the nineties, I don't like being reminded how old I am.
Cosmotown is also very cheap, is that a reputable register? In the footer, it says they are on Afilias. I've heard of them, but not Cosmotown.

Cheap is expensive.
But do your own due diligence.

If you gonna try, atleast use their Beta launch code COM67 for $3.08 .COM registration, limit 1 per customer. What I´ve seen it works still. You need to finish creating an account first. As soon as the account is setup, you can use the code successfully.
