Cloverfield is amazing. Just posted in the Twilight thread about it. But you guys are forgetting the old fashioned horror classics. The two scariest movies out there:

PSYCHO
THE EXORCIST

Oh, and then there's Storm of the Century and The Shining. Stephen King is GOD.

I saw the movie REC a while back and thought it was pretty scary..

It is somewhat similar to movies like paranormal and blair witch

I don't know if this one is my favorite but if you haven't seen that new film "The 4th Kind" it is fucking scary and I would highly recommend it. It is very much like the Exorcist.

A Tale Of Two Sisters ( Janghwa, Hongryeon)

From IMDB: "A Tale of Two Sisters" is a brilliant South Korean psychological horror that left me speechless.The film offers some delicious moments of ghastly horror and is extremely creepy.The small cast of actors is truly excellent,with lead Im Soo-jung being especially memorable in the lead role.The direction by Kim Ji-woon is well-handled and the cinematography is absolutely gorgeous.The plot is slightly confusing,but some scenes are wonderfully eerie.The action is rather slow,but I was not bored in the slightest;I was extremely curious and intrigued.The house,where the film takes place looks incredibly menacing and isolated."A Tale of Two Sisters" is along with "Ringu" and "Kairo" one of the most original Asian horror films I have ever seen.Watch this masterpiece as soon as possible.My rating:10 out of 10.

I'm just looking at videos of people watching it. Cheez, the look on their faces.
One almost puked, the other one is as white as a ghost. Seems pretty fucked up.

So I think I'll watch it...

i watched Saw as well as Texas chainsaw ..
but they are not horror movies..they all are thriller movies..
i was looking for a movie like P.A...and exorcism ...
not like fready vs jason ..i hate these type of thriller movies..
I need more suggestions.
