What's your favorite way to ingest caffeine? And if you don't do any of the above-- how the hell can you keep functioning after 12-hour days?

By not having 12 hour work days, and by having enough sleep and things like apples. You should cut out caffeine asap from your diet because its just so bad for you if you have it every day

Been there, done that. Caff is good although it cuts thru your way to feel sleepy.

When you hit 2 AM and instead of sleeping you're doing something else, the next day your internal clock says wake UP at 10 AM and you're not getting enough REM sleep = feel tired all day.

You'll be fine though. For at least two months with this you'll do just fine, but in the long run, you're irreversibly killing who you are.

Easy. I am vegan, juice on a regular bases (try to do everyday), and adrenaline pumping music when I am feeling sluggish. Caffeine don't do squat for me. I drink it sometimes before I go to bed just for the taste and sleep real good afterward. Caffeine actually makes me sleepy. But when I get tired and need a pick me up I use music it works great for me. When I want to write good content or get into a deep state of mind for writing poetry etc I listen to music to drown out my surroundings to really get involved in my work. The music talks to me and let me adventure off to another state of mind, place etc. I know I am weird but it works wonders for me. Got to know your mind and body, that's what its all about. But one thing I will say when you let yourself get so tired nothing will work for you that is natural or good for you. So I suggest getting your necessary amount of sleep when you just can't stand it no more. No need to kill yourself over working and trying to get ahead. I have been considering lucid dreaming lately and testing it out to see if I can start working in my sleep  I just cannot find the time to start practicing it to get my skill up to par to do this though. I often enough will wake up from regular dreaming about incredible business ideas to do and will get up and write them down in the middle of the night. So Lucid dreaming would be helpful for me short term, long term I would probably go insane. I love the human body experience you can really push yourself to the limit.

3 - 4 cups of green tea, two trough the morning, rest in the rest of the day, but never after 18 pm.

if I have day full of things to do or on on peak of ideas or strategy generation, I take light sedative herbal tea (mix of peppermint, Valerian and so on) in the late evening, mostly an hour before sleep, it helps me let things down and together with some entertainment movie helps "switch off"

this combo works great for me, tea give me boost in the morning and caffeine from it already wears out till I go to bed. I sleep at about 8 hours and every morning wake up without any bad feelings or feeling myself tired.

I like coffee, energy drinks and pills sometimes. I use the pills only once in a while, when I need to cram a project in. But the 300mg tablets make me feel so bad the next day.

Coffee in the morning and then green tea after that. I find too much coffee actually degrades my productivity because it makes it too hard to concentrate on one thing at a time.
