I created an ad for a regular product on fb and linked it to my shopify site. Just a normal product that is also sold on amazon. Out of the blue I got a "Your advert account has been flagged for policy violations". Any idea why? In the ad I had mentioned the word 'adult' implying that it is an adult size product. Could that be the reason?

    Hey,

Facebook has certain Algo Triggers in place, like, but not limited to

Trigger 1 - Ad Text words (Trigger Words) IE* Trick, Surprised, etc
Trigger 2 - Photo Recognition, for Ex: Some Aff Will Attempt to post an ED Ad with Banana or Cucumber pics, he then gets auto dissapproved for Adult Content, or maybe a WH Marketer posts a Smothie Recipe with a Banana Pic, he gets Auto Dissapproved as well.

The Diffrence between ED Aff and WH Marketer, is WH Marketer can requnet a Manaul review and get the Ad Approved.

Trigger 3 - Abnormally High spend for a New Acc or Ad - FB May smack you for that

The list goes on, another is negative feedback on an Ad.

Message FB Ads Team, they will either help you or not, but you will never know until you ask (Worth a Shot if you are WH or BH)

if you are selling non-authentic products it is not allowed. YOu have to make sure you own the product from shopify, otherwise, you will just get banned again and again using other ads accounts (which is your best option for now).... good luck mate!
