Apparantly, I'm in the dropshipping world now xD
I don't know how I got here, but I seem to have good contacts etc. and I started a website selling male clothes about 3 hours ago.

My method - Don't spend a single $(just pay loads of time instead):

    1: Hit GTrends
2: Get a domain, can also get it foar frieee
3: Buy hosting, if you don't want to buy it use a site for free
4: Become a wholesaler's affiliate that does DropShipping.

5: Get some items to sell

    6: Traffic Traffic Traffic.

My traffic so far has been absolutely Great!

    Update so far:
In a call with a sales manager etc. etc..

Making sales, seeing how things progress, social media is a great idea. Pinterest Tumbl Instagram.
I could use a good YT tool if any1 has the share for it, would appreciate it.
Going to launch the website as soon as I have 20 products on it. Only downside so far is that all the models are Chinese/Japanese.

    Update:

Free site up and running, all manual. Made a "free shipping" service where I simply higher the base value.
I'm hosting at storenvy which is pretty decent, but nothing for me.
I wish to get the first couple a hundreds runnin quickly and set the name, next I will get a good domain/host and get ready to make it a brand as critman suggested.

I decided to say FUUUUUUFCK this.
I figured investing 40$ now for decent hosting+domain is definately worth all the time I was going to put in the free site.
Transfering money from my mums pp account, broke like that :DD
Next step, domain+host setup > wordpress > theme > plugins.

    Updates

After some long struggling with myself I decided to do this and go for it 100%.
So I just invested 60$ in hosting and domain.
I will try to write a working plan for myself to not give up on this one which is going to be extremely hard for me..

    Done:

    Hosting bought
    Domain bought
Decision made to go for it

    To Do(short-term):
    Set up WP
    pick a neat eCommerce theme

Find out how my suppliers' api works
    Get the site working
Maybe get a couple products on it

Not going to do any SEO yet

Glad to see you're taking the process one step at a time. Sometimes we can get so caught up in the whole thing we want to work on everything at once! If you still have a bit of a budget, there are some really nice eCommerce themes over at WooThemes. If not I think I've seen plenty shared for free around the forum :)

    Quick update:

Funny thing that happend to me today.
For 2 days now I knew that my current supplier uses an API. But since the website is not finished yet I didn't ask for it.
Today I asked if my assistant could send me the API, and guess what she said.. Okay, the engineer will do it blabla and you will have to pay 299$. So I rage, cuz it's bullsheeeit. I'm not supposed to invest any money into a freggin supplier. I should be focussing on marketing instead.. silly doesn't understand it -.-
    What does the API do?
It makes a connection between my site and the suppliers DB, so when something is bought it's shipped automatically. Of course this is not worth the 299$, but even if it was it is absolutely terrible to sell a friggin API to your partners, since it discourages them to stay Instead of attracting them..

Gonna post this in dropshipping section too.

I know that, but not in an API made by my own supplier.. It's not even third party software(which normally is free)

    APIdates

Finnaly have settled things with the api.. I am going to get it, but it's slow and blabla, So I think I will end up cleaning the code of the api -,-

    DONE:

    -Website working good
    -Get some good WooCommerce extensions

    NOT DONE:

-Need to get multiple ways to login working, not all working yet.
    -Get API working fast
-Upload some products. I got a nulled version of Product CSV Import, uploaded it thinking it was safe, whole wp server crashed. everythin deleted etc etc, this rolled me back to a backup of about 3-4hours ago. After reviewing the nulled extensions' code I saw 4 simple but hella annoyin php injections that made the server crash :/
-Choose about 500 products for a beginnning.
-A couple of quality blog posts.
    -Try to configure WLM properly
    -Get some affiliate going on

    TOTAL WEBSITE PROGRESS ABOUT 70%
