"Sorry for the error in title"
It's the first time i get a copyright complaint from a company, now i have to shut down a website.
The website is already #5 on G after a week of work (new domain). Thats not a problem, i will start a new one with a generic domain name and redirect the first. I will ignore the complaint for a month to let the redirect work.
Now the question is: can i just copy paste the content to the new domain? Or Will G consider it as duplicate ?
    Thank you.

Register the website under Google Webmasters, and make it a 301.

If you got in trouble for the domain, make sure everything is exactly the same on the new domain. Layout, content, everything should be the same.

Just 301 to the new domain and you should be good to go.

Yes the same content will be fine. Just 301 the old domain to the new domain.

Make sure the new domain has the same theme, content, and permalinks and it should be a smooth transition to the new domain.
