ok, in the past I've been apt to joining webinars and wasting the 2 or so hours it takes to listen to a self proclaimed guru ramble on about all the secrets he's going to share with us throughout the call when the only secret they plan on sharing at all is a link to a sales page.

Im getting so sick of these so called gurus all pushing bullshit products and getting rich off of it.

Does anyone see how ridiculous this is???

All that happens is someone buys a product, goes to their circle jerk of "guru" buddies, has a launch competition with whatever prizes they feel like offering. And then everyone pushes this ridiculous product at $197 or whatever when usually its not worth $19.

A recent product that comes to mind is traffic anarchy, what a pile of shyt that is, way to take for sweet programs, take all the good parts out of them, mash it together, make a few bullshyt videos and deceive your followers.

The only ones that really bother me are

James Jones (what a slob that guy is)
    Jeff Johnson (arrogant prick)
Keith Dougherty (new addition for being an idiot)

Sure these guys have made alot of money, way more then I have and for that I applaud them and Im in no way pissing on all "gurus" because like everything Im sure there are some decent ones out there.

But these guys are all grade A dinks. Running completely pointless webinars with absolutely no decent content just to get a few bucks from taking advantages of the overly trusting public.

So thats my rant, sry if you guys dont agree.

I said there had to be some good gurus out there somewhere. Jason Fladlien, I like that guy, weird laugh, cute baby, but good guy.

I used to feel the same way but... If you have the time and interest to complain, then you should probably make your own product.

It's really not difficult to sell something better than what most gurus sell. The only thing that separates you is influence and branding.

Courses selling for $1k are riding almost entirely on the guru them self and not the actual course information.

in the testing phase as we speak, if I release a product its because it works not because I need money.

You are mostly right but you might find something totally different when you step it up to the "mastermind groups" these are usually about $500 per month to about $25,000 one shot payment. I am a member of these and think it was the best money ever spent.

    Eben Pagan Guru Mastermind Program
    Jeff Walker's Platinum group
    Howie Schwartz Ultimate
    Anything from Andy Jenkins
    Anything from Frank Kern

What makes you good driver - reading books about driving, or just driving?

I will pass on seminars and ebooks - I have bought one ebook in my life - only because it was like $10 and it said about something you cant read on wikipedia and I want it to get a grip.

Funk the Gurus - do it by yourself.
This forum will give you more knowledge than all the gurus...

I gotta disagree about traffic anarchy being bad stuff.

You can get if for free in here and it saves me a heck of a lot of time.

Other than having to create the accounts manually, it rocks when it comes to auto submitting stuff.
