You know how when a noob makes a thread saying like "I have no money to invest. How do I make money online? I am so poor. Blah blah".
    or
"How do I make $10 per day? This is all I want! Help!"

Then some guys will come along and say "Do some article writing. Done."

My question is, where are they supposed to find these article writing jobs?

Honestly, on oDesk, eLance, GAF, DP, etc; it is not the easiest thing for one of these Indians/Pakistan's/etc to get a writing job.

What are your guys thoughts on this?

If you only want to make $10 a day, go pump gas or sewage.

Apply to Demand Studios, they pay $15 per article. You will need to send them a resume and a sample. I was actually rejected by them which is funny because I wrote articles for someone that sent my articles to them. I think that they put a lot of weight into the Resume.

Remember, I am not talking about me, however, I don't want to close any doors yet. If the pay is good enough, I may be talking about me. :)

That is true, but how do you expect these noobs to compete with the 1000s of threads already there?

Take a look at all the replies already. ;) Just guessing the job is filled. haha.

Your trying to be funny, but your really not. Maybe your trying to help, but your really not.

    I will consider it. Thanks.

sometimes when you place too many constraints on a question, there just simply is no answer.

like, if you were to ask, "how do i make money online if:"
i have no money to invest
    i can't speak english
i'm too lazy to search the forum
i only want to do 5 minutes of work
    i'm incompetent
    etc..

there's just no possible way to answer that question.
so the only replies are gonna be people flaming the noob.

Wasn't trying to be funny. But if someone only wants to make $10 a day, and not $100 or $1000 or $10,000 a day, then they have serious motivational issues and should go pump gas. Gotta think big to make it in the world.

I could make $10 a day by wiping my ass and selling the toilet paper.

Well, I started out looking to hire. However, looking at what some people charge, I am toying with the idea of becoming a writer.

The thing is, you only know half of my story. I have already posted it somewhere here on BHW. Includes a bit about what kind of family I come from, etc.

Not sure what you are talking about, nor do I want to.

All I'm saying is that if someone is serious about becoming anything, they need to dream a little bigger than $10/day.

And writing articles is not that good of money. The top Elance article writer only makes about 150k a year.

My article writing skills are near perfect, and I have two published books in the project management sector. Guess how much I made from both of those books combined? $80k. Thats it.

Writing is for people who love it, not for people who want to be rich.

I don't want to be selfish but if you don't care what I say then leave the thread because I don't know what you are doing here then. However if you care about what I say, then you make the decision.
If you read what I wrote:
"I have no money to invest. How do I make money online? I am so poor. Blah blah"

Then you would know that article writing is a form of gathering investment money. As you already proven, it is not a main income. However, for a teenager, $80,000 isn't small.
