    "You hear from my attorneys if you we've contact me again."

    That was my last response from my last client, when I him an e-mail and ask him for my money.

    But, let's start with the begin.

    Last days, a person contact me to develop a website (not for him, but for his agency, or something like that ). In fact, we've talked about more projects that he needs, and he was not so well documented in the discussion ( he go from a subject to other very quick ).

    After we discuss things, and helped him with a lot of minor maitenances ( for free from me ), I've started to work on one of his websites. First, I've redirected his website from a domain name to the good one. Then the old website to the good domain name. Then I've developed a new one ( WordPress ), but with his old design ( revamped ) + other stuff, like transfer the content, etc. . Totally, I've worked for him 12 hours.

    After I've completed the job, he told me that entire job is a real mess, and other bad things. I've did what he needs, in a professional manner. I didn't break anything. I just do what he told me to do. Right now, my work is on there, an he is enjoy from it.

    So, this was a week ago. After some messages on Skype, I realize that he deleted me from there, without any message.

    Today, I've sent him an e-mail, where I told him that I need my money for my working jobs. He sent me two messages back:
    1. "I don't owe you anything. Job never completed - Never contact me"...
    2. ( After a few minutes, without any response from me ):"That horrifying nightmare was documented by my new developers, and you completely disregarded the email sent asking not to change the domain name. You hear from my attorneys if you we've contact me again.

    What to do?
    In the first instance, I was thinking about undo all of my work, undo the domain redirect, etc, and leave him where we started.

    Unfortunately, you got scammed and there is nothing productive you can do about it. In the future, be more careful with who you do business with. He has no lawyers, he is just a scammer, but his rapid topic changes and his terrible English should be a tip off next time. This is all assuming that you were actually in the right here.

    If it makes you feel any better, at least you learned this lesson on 12 hours of work and not 80.

    Pull the site and put up a "This site has been suspended due to unpaid bills." page?

    I second this.

    You should also write a negative article or 50 about your experience with this seller. Make sure other people know not to work with him. Leave reviews where ever you can.

    @Travanx
    I don't have any contract. My fault.

    @I32007
    I taught about this, but I changed my opinion. It is not productive for me right now.

    @OutOfTown
    This is what I will do next days. I know that this is not productive for me, but it may be for others in the future.

    @Techxan
    This is his opinion after he saw the website ( after transfer, etc ). Right now, after "he hired new developers", the website design is still the same. No other changes, or at least, no major changes.

    My leson: I will use Escrow from now. It is better for both parts.

    Thank you guys

    No offense but sounds like you did a crap job.
    I'd have to see it before I gave a better opinion.

    You were scammed bro
    you lost ur time n efforts but you learnt a lesson
    but if possible if hes working for some agency try contacting the agency directly and tell them how he scammed you with proofs
    or u can undo the work done but i dont think its of use since he might have downloaded all the necessary files

    If you can prove that you really created that site and helped them in all those ways, then talk to the top person in that company, and also name it here. Sometimes a third party outsources a company job, and then says those things to the worker, and then pocket some huge fees from the company.

    If you are lucky, and I think you could be, then talk to the top people who should know what has happened. For those people, any future troubles aren't worth a small scam by their associates... a link here would tell him that there could be trouble because our site produces top related results in Google search and those results stay put for a long time.

    Of course I am not a lawyer and this suggestion is only coming from an amateur who hates those scammers of honest workers.

    And I am sure that the person who wrote those lines has no money in his pockets or in his bank right now to hire a competent lawyer...

    P.S.:

    The company may hire you in his place!

    Rule number one, rather you're pimping hoes or building websites... payment upfront.

    Just undo everything and move on. Now you know next time that you should get paid first.
