You want your keys in there when possible. Put a twist/spin on it like:
    Keyword Guy
    Lover of Keywords
    Keyword Fan
    Name Keyword
    etc

You can either put it in the name field or just put it in html as an link at the end of your comment!

It really depends how and where im posting to which one i use but manually you can see what has been accepted before and try and auto you can do a mix or just run one type and then re-run again for the ones that were not approved with the other.

Im just wondering, if you are going for 'dog training'

    You would have

    dog guy
    lover of training

would you end up raking for dog training? Probably not that keyword but its an example.

Then that would mean you could also rank for 'dog lover'?

    All depends. Many variables.

    On page seo.
    quality of backlinks
    quantity of backlinks
    level of competition

You're probably going to need some exact anchors for even moderate competition.

For your example, targeting dog training, a good choice is "dog trainer."

Blog comments shouldn't be your only source of backlinks.
