I'm very new to SEO. I have been using SEOquake for my keyword density. I just started using Yoast for my SEO and it's telling me a completely different percent than SEOquake is. There's a big difference in the two percents.

    Question..

How does Google analyze a single pages density? If I'm trying to target a certain percent for my main keyword, should I trust Yoasts's percent, or SEOquake's percent?

Why don't you tell us what they're telling you to do and we'll make assumptions based on that, rather than the reputation of the product/company. :)
That being said, Yoast is typically pretty good.

Yoast usually gives density based on just the article. SEOquake density is based off the whole page.
