    Hello,

There used to be a time when my website used to rank #1-2 for a particular keyword. For many months I flip flopped between #1 and #2. Then suddenly, Google released the Panda/Penguin update and I was no where to be found. It has been a year since I have seen the search engines for this particular website.

A few days ago I added a link to the frontpage of the site linking to another site of mine. Yesterday I took a look at the analytics and I nearly multiplied my traffic by 100! My AdSense account also went crazy! Check it out:

Keep in mind I did not update the site at all during the past year. This is the first time something gets added to the frontpage.

I could go on to speculate to say that perhaps the small site update triggered the algorithms and ranked me back up. Or perhaps Google rolled out some new updates that just so happened to coincidence with what I did. What ever the case may be I am happy and satisfied with what happened.

Must be a great feeling...I am curious, is your other site that you linked to an authoritative website, or a website you recently set up, or in-between?

The site I linked was a brand new site with brand new never registered domain.

Wow...interesting! Was the website relevant to the other website? Or was it some random website?

    Good!

Be careful with your Adsense ID. No duplicate content. And generate real human traffic only. Google definitely always send real human traffic.

That is just weird (scratches head) but in any case congrats! Nothing better then waking up one morning and finding cash in your adsense account and arrows pointing up on the stats report!
