Yesterday's bombing at the Boston Marathon was a huge wake up call. I grew up there. Boston will always be "Home" to me. I have most of my family and old childhood/college friends up there.

I have family that work for the Red Sox. They were right there when it happened. One of my best friends from college was at the finish line right where the first bomb went off but thankfully left the area to meet up with other friends before it went off. That shit really hits hard...and makes you look at the big picture.

As you work today and try to reach goals, beat goals, or set new goals....remember one thing:

You should never take anything or anyone for granted. Keep those that you love and cherish close and remind them daily how much they mean to you. And stop worrying and thinking so far into the future. "I Have to plan for retirement. Ahh, better put more into my Roth IRA"...fuck all that. LIVE FOR THE NOW. LIVE FOR TODAY. Right now, this minute right here is all that we have. LIVE YOUR FUCKING LIFE AND NEVER LOOK BACK!

I'm not saying don't plan...because we have to...but at the same time don't lose focus on what is important. That could have been you or me killed yesterday. Or our family and friends.

Just take 5 min today and step away form the computer to think about why really matters...
