    Hello

Yesterday afternoon facebook marked all my posted links as unsafe/spam. This happened across several fb accounts and was retroactive. Obviously the links are not being followed, result: zero traffic.

All the links are posted with twitterfeed and use bit.ly shorteners. I am thinking to replace the bit.ly with a custom shortener and see what happens.

I have no problems posting and no blocked accounts, no problems logging in to fb and no problems creating new accounts. This seems to be a link problem.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks
    Mike

I am not sure about twitterfeed but facebook can easily detect the original link behind the bit.ly.
So if you use bit.ly to hide links its of no use frankly.

they did not block your account, that is good news... If you continue they might then block you.. For the spamming change the "bit.ly" facebook don;t like this......

cm, that is what I am trying now. The twitterfeed program requires a url shortener to post, they started out posting to twitter, I have written them asking for feedback, in the past they have been good about replies.... I have written a custom "shortener" which actually posts the entire original url, so we will see what facebook has to say about this....should have some results in a couple days

Well Don't waste time waiting for there respond.
What if they say they're okay with bit ly and again they block your account for spamming. What are you going to do.
They gots tons of policies and they are not bound to provide you there policies details so in one way or the other you will loose.
SO better use some other link shortner or link cloaker.

Very weird..........it *seems* to have disappeared as fast as it came, about 24 hours later. At the moment all the facebook pages I have tried, the links are OK and don't produce the warning. Possibly a facebook programming experiment, when this stuff produces too many complaints I think they revise their stuff. Lately I have noticed that their "authentication" request is for date of birth, not phone number. I will be following this closely.

    Post a link to UnbannedDomain.tld.
    Have UnbannedDomain.tld redirect to BannedDomain.tld

    Thats what I did.

Are you using bit.ly links for the sole purpose of making money through clicks? or is there any other reason that makes you wanna hide your links?
