Ok yes i know there are plenty of same topic asking how much its worth bla bla and bla...
But we already hit the year 2012 and i'm just wondering if the social media platform market price have increase...

Anyone have any idea on how much does a Fanpage with 75k Fans worth for?
35k+ comes from US while the rest is mixture of UK and other Europe Countries..

it doesnt matter what year it is. that is irrelevant. it matters who you buy it FROM - the real prices should be around 1 - 2$ per 1k fans. but you will see people selling it for astronomical prices. one guy on BHW even tried to sell me a page for 3000 dollars which was hilarious. how do people get there figures is beyond me.

You got to be kidding right mate??
He tried to sell you 3k for the Fanpage?
I'll bet most of the fans he get is from the Mafia wars...

    I think i'll follow the "1 - 2$ per 1k fans" for my future business negotiation... :)

Super active 1.5 million likes page. $1800

Pays for itself within a couple of days if used wisely.

There have been times when I have gotten massive pages for free, just by asking the owner nicely and playing innocent. Read my tips in this thread

    Note: Its not for sale.

A word of advice or warning before you buy a massive page figure out what methods you could use to make money from it. I have sold some pages recently to a few people who all came back to me and started complaining because they could not make their money back. even with GST's great thread. its still a risk and you should weigh it up before you buy something you dont know how to use.

I deal with a ton of fanpage buying/selling/trading, probably more than anyone else on this forum and I can tell you that the current going price is around $2/1k fans now. Typically if someone is buying in bulk it can go down to $1.50/1k fans or a little less, but I rarely see anything around $1/1k fans unless the fanpage is composed of mostly fake fans, inactive fans or fans that are mostly from India/Pakistan.

So for a good, large, active page with real fans mostly from US/UK expect to pay $2/1k and yes, you can easily make the $$$ back from the page in a few days (or hours depending on the script).

Fan pages are pointless if they contain 1.5 million disengaged fans.

However if fans are engaged, then they have value.

I admin a 25,000 fan page for a UK sports team. I've admined it properly for years (with respect for users) and as a result it gets amazing response rates. The most recent post reached 50% of the fanbase, which is rare these days if you understand how FB algo works.

I would certainly value fans of this page above $2 per 1,000.

$2 per 1k fans seems low to me, I'd think a minimum of $5 per 1k if it is run properly, but if the response rates are really good I'd think more isn't unreasonable.
