My brother and I are dedicated Yankees fans for life. We go to many games every year. We just purchased a crap load for this season and have plans for playoffs too. My idea was since we always make flyers that get A LOT of attention from the camera men (Good Attention :) ), I could have a website at the bottom of these? Is that even allowed?

If so, would you pay someone to have your website there for a few games or even certain games?

What do YOU think?
:)

Yankees fan here too :) you just see their win against the jays??

I think if you have a website on your banner, which is big enough to get any attention, then the camera men just wont focus on you! .. Great way to think outside the box, but im not sure it would work!!

Had the same kind of idea here with our nba team but advertising my own sites, never actually tried it kinda curious on how it will turn out keep us posted.

Sorry, I had to do it, I'm a Red Sox fan, even though they really suck so far this year...

But I'm not too sure about putting a website at the bottom of the banner. First, they usually don't show the banners for too long, people would have to memorize the website pretty quickly. And secondly, not too many people are interested in looking up a website while watching the game.

But on the other hand, it's not going to cost you anything to do it so why not try it. You might get some people from the ballpark visiting your site.

Lol that's a good one. First time i see that one. I'll have to make my own version ;)

Maybe some related cpa offer? Or a site where they can win tickets?
Not sure yet but just brainstorming for now.

FREE YANKEES TICKETS .. GO TO www.blablabla.com

Im sure that will catch the eye of hundreds of yankees fans at the park, so wether or not it gets on screen shouldnt be too much of an issue! :)

Yeah, that's a good idea. I think you'd be better off targeting the people at the park rather than the people watching on tv. Just be careful, putting something like FREE YANKEES TICKETS, might get a lot of people interested, it would probably also draw the attention the Yankees promotional department.

Yeah that's what im worried about but i dont think it should be a problem as long as I actually award the tickets..since they still made their money from that ticket plus what the customer is going to spend there..

Yea that is true, but how about if you said 'Yankees Tickets Giveaway' ?? .. Then your excuse could be, (if you ever get into trouble) i have some spare tickets which i no longer want and i am giving them away .. sorted :)

Get a hot girl to advertise any website, and watch the money pile up.

Yes that was what I had in mind. Maybe they can fill out cpa offers for an entry.

This would be no problem! :D

Update; April 25th will be the first game we try this on.
I've already found a few things to promote, but would appreciate any ideas or offers you guys might know of. Will keep you posted, thanks :)
