It's just a PR mishap, when you announce an upgrade/update when the media is abuzz with stories about your downtime.

So they caused the downtime? So a few obscure blogs (and no major publication) pick up and report on it - causing zero-buzz whatsoever. Only for these stories to show up when searching for Yahoo Mail?
