Trying to rank my friends business locally. He's been in business for over 50 years and ran a few unsuccessful SEO campaigns in the past. He also changed his number. Now there are almost 200 inconsistencies of information in the top 40 local directory listings like Yelp, Mapquest, CitySearch, etc. Some numbers are different, some business names are different (inc. at the end of some), the company website is not mentioned in over half of these listings, etc.

The guy doesn't know the user name and password to these listings to have me go in manually and fix them one by one. At first I was going to try Yext. Now I'm noticing Yahoo! LocalWorks which fixes everything for only $30 bucks a month. He pays me $600 a month so it is easily covered. Should I pursue this?
