    Hi everyone,

I created a fresh Yahoo Answers account to help promote my French learning website.

I posted about 14 well written answers last night and in the source box, I wrote "For more French tips and over 180 video tutorials, check out: http://www.mylink.com".

When I woke up today, I saw that they had suspended my account! I tried to appeal this but they did not approve it.

So, can anyone give any suggestions on how I can keep my account active? Should I lose the advertising feel and just write the URL in the source box?

I read Yahoo's guidelines and they say that business related sites should not write the URL to their site in every answer. Do you guys suggest doing something like only putting the URL in 50% of the answers? Or, should I create a new account and just try putting only the URL in the source box 100% of the time (no ad text) and see if I can get by like that?

    Thanks for any help!

Yahoo doesn't want Answers to be used for affiliate promotion.. You need to be MUCH more subtle about it. Just give good answers and list the site as a source, don't add a spammy sounding lead in "For more French tips and over 180 video tutorials, check out:"
