Long story short, this is one of my old projects I'm just wondering, if I could do anything about this?

I think Google have already put their bad mark on this domain, I was stupid enough to not check when I started
a year or so ago - this domain is bringing in some decent revenue but I think it would do a lot better in the ranks
if it didn't have that stain which was some XXX p0rn movies site in 1999 I checked through archive.org "take me back"

Should I just forget about it? Or is there anything I can do.

    Zakhar,

I can't speak from experience hear but it would seem that with the way Google treats everything else, it may be less time consuming and easier to just start from scratch. Unless you have found a way around any obstacles, when Google has made up its mind about something, changing things can be difficult if not impossible. For example people that get banned from using adsense can rarely get let back in.

Maybe you can get some ideas of what to do here,

    Hope that helps,

you will always be hunted by the xx first site in google eyes. if you get your traffic from google(organic), you should buy another domain, and redirect traffic from this one to the other.
If you get paid traffic or social traffic, you can keep this one.
