Ok, I know everyone on here loves wordpress, but how much of a difference in ranking would I see if I used WP vs. Xsite Pro for a couple large authority sites? My mid size and mini sites rank just fine with Xsite pro right now.

Also, I should mention that an additional 2-3 sites are going to be service type sites where I will be selling subscription-based packages.

*Please note that I do not have any experience with WP as of right now. Will this make that much of a difference? Will it be hard to sell a WP site if I decide to in the future? I have heard moving the "databases" never works out well when selling.

Thank you!!!!

Bump for some suggestions....I thought some on here may have experience with Xsite pro for larger authoritative or service type sites. I genuinly could use a little feedback.

Even a quick..."Go with Wordpress you idiot" would be welcomed at this point, jk.

Thank you again in advance for any help that can be given.

the term "authority site" has nothing to do with wordpress or xsite pro.

My appologies....to clarify, I am looking to establish two types of sites

1. Large authority site 100+ pages unique content (affiliate based and adsense)
2. Service based sites with monthly subscriptions

My question is whether Wordpress or XsitePro would result in better search engine rankings long term for these types of sites.

Also, whether it would be difficult to sell a Wordpress site (I have heard of problems withe the "databases") as I am unfamiliar selling WP sites and have only sold regular HTML sites in the past.

I am looking to invest siginificant funds in these sites (as opposed to my mid-size sites which now run mostly on autopilot) and I want to make sure I do things right.

I use xsitepro2 for my 20+ sites. I have found that google likes them and have had little trouble ranking the sites within a month. I have heard many others prefer wordpress for all the plugins available. I find xsitepro very user friendly and as an added plus the sites seem to use up less bandwidth then traditional sites.

I hope I helped some. PM me if you have any more questions.

It dont matter. Do whatever makes the site look the best and serve your needs. Google only sees content. All the whoopla about wordpress is crap.
