So I bought xrumer with a couple of lists. One of the lists supposedly has 2million forums which I have been running since I got it.

So far after 3 days non stop I only have 27158 profiles created of 845000 links processed.

Even worse I am just checking in scrapebox and of all these I only have 6k livelinks.

6 fucking k livelinks for 3+ days of work!!!!

Also xrumer clogs up the vps such that I am unable to run scrapebox as it crashes almost instantly.

Scrapebox had been providing me some decent results recently with constant AA blasting so atm this is proving a terrible tradeoff.

I asked the guy who I bought it off what success rate I should expect and he said he gets 15% and that is a great figure. If this is his own personal list then why would he only get 15% success rate on it? Why not 100%? or close as presumably you'd be filtering the links that didn't work? So something smells fishy here.

Anyone offer any more insight? Like I say this is pointless if it provides way lower results than SB. Even the profiles that are created will take more work to get indexed whereas SB links happily fly up in yahoo site explorer with no extra work.

So what seems to be at fault here?

Guy told me 15% is a great success rate and most ppl don't get over 10- I find this understandable on a NEW list but why would that be the case on your personal list- I'm guessing the guy was lying about this being his best list and prob just gave me any old crap. This would be reassuring as at least then I could know there is room for improvement. Currently my biz partner figured we are getting a little under 5%. So what gives?

Also are his stats correct? What sort of numbers should I be expecting?

You need a good xas_ai file that was used to get his 15% success rate. If you're blasting with the default one, it won't be nearly as good. Learn to make your own xas_ai file, then when you scrape lists, make xas for those lists. Thats the best way to get high success rates. XR links are mostly do follow, SB links are mostly no follow. I get more results using XR then I do with SB.

He also gave me his 419kb xas file which he said was super duper (whether this is true or not I don't know). When i began using his xas the LPMs seemed to shoot up from 127 p/m to 300-400- is this a correct assumption or just coincidence? Still though the stats in my OP are from AFTER I got that xas file.

Can you tell me what your average success rates are then with your lists? How many K per how many K list?

Once I know what I'm aiming for plus what I have to do to get there I can get to work on making it happen :D.

Profile rates in Xrumer from raw scraped lists are notoriously shite. Even if you harvest the cleanest raw list, and by clean I mean 99%+ of the urls are of the desired platform with very few random blogspot blogs etc, you will only achieve from 2 to 5% (max) profile rate. That is even with the best XAS_AI which in reality will only improve your success by 10-20% so instead of maybe 2% you might get 2.4%. Running on default config also increases the speed vastly without self learning mode on.

For a general harvest where many footprints have been used and more likelihood of many rogue URLs not of the CMS desired, success rates can be as low as 0.3% profile to url. This is normal and the key is to harvest a LOT of links so your first step is not with xrumer necessarily, it's with hrefer.

xas_ai is not enough to give you a high success rate. xas_ai doesnt help xrumer create accounts it only partially helps xrumer drop links in accounts you already created. Your problem is mostly that xrumer is not creating a high proportion of accounts to begin with meaning the problem lies with other config files such as xurl, xmessage etc etc.

Anyone who gives you a 300Kb xas_ai file or a 500Kb xas_ai file and tells you it will improve your success rate beyond a couple percent is selling you a pipe dream.

the issue is captcha solving.....you just need to find a way to run xrumer at 1000+links/min for it to be really effective..
