Xbox Kinect domains

The Xbox Kinect will be releasing in November, not sure how big it will be but it seems a LOT of people are already reserving and looking forward to it.

Wondering if this will be a lucrative business, maybe registering a domain related to xbox kinect repair or something else thats still available. Xbox 360 repair sites seemed to do well, they even had some clickbank products so possibly the kinect will too.

What do you guys think?

I think you have just given me a good idea

Imo the fool-proof way to profit from it is to create a site with some amazon banners then rank it on google. A review site or whatever.

Yea, I mean there are so many different types sites you can make with this product. I've registered a few top quality .com's a few days ago, waiting to see how this plays out.

I personally think the product itself will bomb, probably next year. It will have some buzz and potential through the holiday and 1st quarter.

Work it while you can, but I wouldn't consider it long term.

Couldn't agree more, looks brutal to me. 360 should stay to what it's good at; shooters and sports games. Kids will find out soon enough that they should have just stuck with their wii because kinect sucks balls.

Kinect is an awesome concept and works pretty well as far as full body recognition goes (better than wii can detect 1 controller). The only draw back is that it uses to much system resources to run the Kinect itself, so the games will be simplistic at best. Don't invest to much into making bank with it. You are better off registering xbox 720 sites, put up a blog about you predictions on the 720 (which will be designed around the Kinect or something of the like) and build links to hit #1 and then more links to stay there when it actually drops into stores.

I'm not trying to discourage anyone to not bank with it but don't reinvest your bank to make more because you will eventually break even at best.
