does anyone know about this? I recently bought a domain and came a across a page mydomain.com-about.com
Im a little lost..is there an extension .com-about.com
still doesnt make sense how they got the domain name say
blackhatworld.com-about.com ? thanks

i believe they own the domain "com-about.com" and "mydomain" is the subdomain.

no what I am saying I was own the domain name say http://www.tvcity.com and they somehow have the page http://www.tvcity.com-about.com ...diff page not related to my site..hows it possible

Because they own the domain www.com-about.com.
When you own a domain, you can create subdomains like this:
www3.com-about.com
Blog.com-about.com


Or, as in your case:
YOURDOMAIN.com-about.com


So it is NOT your domain. But it could be a smart way to get traffic from searches on a specific domain name.
