Hello, Black Haters!
I'm seeking guidance and valuable tips to drive traffic to my news website in Brazil. Currently, the site has around 50 unique users per day, and my goal is to reach 1000 unique daily users in 1 to 2 months and at least 3000 unique users per day in the next 6 months.
I have more followers in others social media accounts that I would like to use to help to grow fast this "news website project".
Strategies already implemented:
Telegram page with 200 subscribers.
YouTube channel with 100 subscribers.
Instagram profile with 2100 followers.
I usually post the new news of the city I live to my friends using Telegram (direct) and Whatsapp.
Challenges:
The site has been inactive for a period, and now I'm looking for effective strategies to resume growth.
It has not more than 100 backlinks. I will need a lot more to rank.
I have Scrapebox (and Scrapejet - this last one I think no longer exists).
Can you bring me ideas to use Scrapebox to get links from my competitors?
One of the biggest one's in Brazil has 54 million unique users (in all social medias) / month. It is a lot!
If I could arrive in ONE MILLION unique visitors / month in my State, it would be very good. Specially because I am alone and the competitors have hundred of people working to them.
There is a long time I have not worked with SEO. So, I will need a few tips to make this page to grow in a rational way to arrive in 100K unique visitors/month in the next 6 months.
Questions and Areas of Interest:
SEO: Besides increasing backlinks, what specific SEO strategies do you recommend to optimize the site's visibility on search engines? What software to use? Specially free ones?
Social Media Engagement: How can I maximize engagement on social media, especially on Telegram, YouTube, and Instagram, to drive more traffic to the site?
Relevant Content: What are the best practices for creating and promoting relevant and engaging content for the Brazilian audience? What I have done is to look at the competitors' website to see new news or use Google News to see them in my area.
Monetization: Considering different channels (website, Telegram, YouTube, Instagram), what monetization strategies do you suggest? I'm open to options such as advertising, partnerships, or subscription models. I thought I could do partnership with Universities or others companies to sell space inside my Website.
Audience Retention: How can I maintain and increase user retention, encouraging them to return to the site regularly?
E-mail marketing (newsletter): do you think Newsletter is a good idea nowadays yet?
I can believe that some of you is already in the "news" niche in your countries. So you could bring ideas I could use to grow it faster, specially to be possible to show to sponsor in Google Analytics webpage the number of new visitors from Brazil.
