    Dear BHW Friends,

I am actually quite a newby here in this forum, but have done hardcore SEO for many years. My question is the following:

I am mostly doing SEO in Google local - that means over 50% of my SEo work is involved with keywords in many foreign languages ( Finnish, Swedish, German.....) . But now I have discovered something new that I am doing - trying to rank on a google local for english keywords. Because ppl also in google.de search in the english language.

I am starting with submiting my site to the google webmaster tools and specifing that it is ment for the specific location and I start to see results.

But my question is - is anybody else doing SEO like that?

If yes, then what else is needed to be done, to rank well for english keywords?

Are links from "local" sites needed to rank better?

Any other suggestions to rank well?

    Regards,

    Mikk

    Every link is worthy.
For ranking matter from G local, IMO, you need international traffic (visitors) especially targeted country. It will rank up your position.
