Not 100% satisfied with the Upwork applicants I've gotten thus far, so I'm extending my search to BHW to see if anyone interesting comes along from here.
I'm looking for a graphics designer to do work for me and my company.
Common design jobs include:
You will most likely design a couple of websites as well, but not sure about those yet.
I don't mind if you operate a BST here, I don't mind if you have a day job and so forth, but I will not hire anyone who cannot answer to messages and confirm projects within a reasonable timeframe, 48 hours absolute maximum, preferably within a few hours-12 hours.
Of course, earthquakes happen, Rihanna and Beyonce might appear on your doorstep asking for a threesome or maybe you get arrested for dealing marijuana to your neighbour's dog. I understand that these things just happen, but if they start happening every so often, I don't even want to read your application.
And honestly, if Rihanna and Beyonce keep coming back for more, you don't need to work ever again, you lucky sex toy.
Point is, what I want from you is:
Ideally you're also very quick with the turn around when I send you the details, you're creative enough not to need a whole lot of explanation to figure out what you should be designing and what it should look like, and lastly, you're self-motivated. I don't want to keep motivating you time and time again, we work as a team and I expect you to work with us.
Now let's talk money and hours.
I cannot guarantee you 40 hours per week, nor can I guarantee you work for every single week of the year. What I can guarantee you is that there is work to be done almost each week and pay for each hour that you do work for me.
The hourly wage can be negotiated, but I'm not looking to hire anyone who asks for 50$ an hour. Heck, I can buy a logo from a seller here for 15$ and it's good quality. Keep that in mind when giving me your salary expectation.
Applications via PM.
I'd also prefer you post here with your questions, so only PM me the application to keep my inbox from exploding.
In your application please include the following:
Samples of your work (include at least one logo design sample!)
Years of experience
Skills (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator etc.)
Hourly wage
Anything else you want to add, please do (unless it's a picture of the male genitalia, which I don't want to see - female genitalia is welcome).
In short - I'm looking for a skilled graphics designer who is trustworthy and plays well in a team.
Cheers,
LC
