I've been doing my ususal Yahoo answers routine (answering questions with relevant content and adding a link either in the body or in the source box). Today i start getting, like, 7 answers reported in row and after that, an "account blocked" email from Yahoo answers! All in the same day!

What's going on, has Yahoo answers changed their policy towards links in the answers?

I did all by the book, only answered question with relevant content, the links i put went to relevant websites (article sites and blogs related to the content of the questions) with adsense and amazon adds.

I mean, i had a 44% best answer rating! and all of a sudden i'm in the sh!t list!!

I already complained to YA let's see what they have to say about that...

Any of you had the same??

That's weird, i've read their ToS, and they say that a reported answer has to be reviewed before being removed.

I guess the YA team is either a bunch of lazy arses, as they immediately screw you up without even look and the Q&A, or they're lying and a reported question is removed without need for supervision.

    great...

Don't worry about it man, it happens to me all of the time. I followed the rules, didn't spam, answered relevant questions and still get my accounts banned sometimes. The thing is to have more than one account just in case. I normally work with about 10-20 accounts and rotate them. I recently started using ********* (free program in this forum) when it first came out. Makes answering questions a lot easier.

Yep. It just happens...nothing you can do about it. Yahoo won't give 2 hoots either.

Just get some proxies and a Yahoo account creator and make some more accounts.

It is easy to check all your previous answers. If you put your links in all your answers, there is a high chance that your account will get flagged. Also you should not repeat the same URL in multiple answers in a short span of time. And better to have many accounts. That is what I learned after two of my accounts got warnings.

Screw that one account. You should create thousands and go industrial scale with automated software.

Yep, like everbody else says, it happens all the time and don't even try to argue with them. Create another account and move on. When it happened to me, I got a kick out of how many "best answers" I got on the the open questions hanging out there at the time of the boot.

This is the risk anytime you are using only one account for posts. Once you are deemed a spammer they shut you down, and then all the posts linked to that account go down.

Having multiple accounts help in this kind of marketing because even if you have one account go down, the others may still stay up leaving you at only a partial loss.

This is a lesson us as Internet Marketers learn all the time. You should always Diversify.

Just as a follow-up, Yahoo sent me a bla bla copy/paste letter basically saying "we don't give a fck, deal with it". So basically your answers can be the best in the world, you can have a very high "best answer" rating and be level 3 or 4... you'll still go down

And yes I'm going industrial spammer with ********* (thanks for that one!).

Morals here: Nuke your competitors, report them like there's no tomorrow.
Multiple accounts, better lot's of accounts with low ranking that an a single account with good ranking.
Your "best answers" still stand even if your profile is suspended (at least they still appear on the yahoo backlinks list)
