    There's something whacky going on.

I've moved my site after it got hit by Google in the last update and have got my traffic back.

In the past I used to sell quite regularly, now NOTHING in the last 30 days.

Take today as an example - 89 unique visitors, 11 (ELEVEN) clicks on my paypal buttons, but not one single sale.

In the last 30 days 163 clicks on my paypal buttons - zippo.

I know they work, I've tested them - what the flip is going on?

    Am I doing something stupid?

Yes this is the weird thing - all of these clicks and no buys! I should have done probably an average of $50 per sale, so even if only 20% had bought that would be $1500.

Only difference is instead of paypal "buy it now" buttons I'm using the link code you'd send out in an email, like a paypal invoice, but it takes you to a screen where you can choose to either click the paypal button or pay by card.

It's driving me nuts I just can't fathom it.

Does your buyers fill anykind of form before going to payout page?? If they don't. Just setup a simple order form with name and email and phone(if you support telephonic support) before payout page. So next time whenever they comes they have to fill that form and if they face any problem on payout page atleast you will receive their information and you can ask them by emailing or calling that whats wrong. they can tell you exactly if something is wrong.

For example you can use wuffoo...

    Thanks
    Pal

No I don't, they land on a page and have 3 option of what to buy, lets say service 1, service 2, or service 3, each has it's own "buy this service now" button.

So you'd think if they actually go to the trouble of clicking on the button they're in all liklihood going to buy...

But they don't. My stats show they click the button, go to the paypal page, and then leave without buying.

It's really strange, previously I have done around $4500 per month or more, now it's stuck at zero.

That's perhaps a good idea, I need to get to the bottom of this rapidly.

Change this back for a couple of days and see what happens:

Only difference is instead of paypal "buy it now" buttons I'm using the link code you'd send out in an email, like a paypal invoice, but it takes you to a screen where you can choose to either click the paypal button or pay by card.

what type of service lol. Also, why not test them with different buttons and a test order as well. Email optin option is another one good thing to have as well. Where, you can give discounts later to get more sales

It's typical isn't it, I posted this here then compared the new sales pages with the old ones from my old site, added 2 paragraphs to the top of each sales page "this is the best xxxxxx service you'll find, etc" and an hour later had a sale of $67.

Can't decide if it's sods law that it coincided with posting here, or if the extra paragraphs made the difference.

    Time will tell I guess.
