So yesterday I setup a brand new site... it's not even indexed in G yet, and has no backlinks. So today I'm in statpress and I see I have a referrer. I click on it and see it's a page from my site. They didn't just forward their domain to my site, but have a total permalinks structure for my every page.

Maybe if this is done on mass, by checking domains that were recently registered, and if done enough by copying enough sites, some will gain traffic and rankings. Then they just check which are doing well, and replace any affiliate info with theirs.

The registrant is from Fujian Province, China. Their domain is generic sounding... just "blog" and then some numbers.

Shit... he even got indexed before me. But the cache is from a stat page from my dns.... "stats.crow.arvixe.com" is the title they have listed on G. So I can still get indexed with my content before them.

Interesting, maybe they use those urls to scrape new sites on the server. I'm using Arvixe hosting.

I actually admire the person who came up with this method... fucker.

Don't approve the trackbacks and comments and index your site as soon as possible. BIG G will take the first site with unique content in to consideration so don't worry.

One of you is going to get deindexed.

Only time will tell which one.

Yeah I deleted comments.php and all that right when I installed. And for my theme, it's Mflat, a free one but it's hosted by WP and pretty popular.

It happened to me a few time now I'm just playing the backlink game with him. All I have to say is keep adding quality content and do more SEO. Sooner or later he will get tried and move on to the next one

But most of the times, these things are done through some autopilot system and it can't get tired.
