Somebody has been posting under my name. How is this even possible??

This is just a wild guess, but recently there have been some database failures and merges. Your account may have been merged with another account.

okay i changed the pass...guess i cant do anything if my account was merged.. should i just start a new account?

No, you can keep that one. It doesn't really matter unless it really matters to you. If you've got a new password and you know that the email address you signed up with wasn't comprised, you don't have anything to worry about.
