Has anyone else here that checks out the Warrior Forum ever noticed how the people there seem to be so damn fascinated with the War Room? Almost to the point where if it were a living breathing thing, they would all get in a line and bend over for it?

Now I have never even went into this War Room precisely for the reason that I feel it's way more hype than anything and the members there are just so in love with the WF and Allen Says that they think anything that has to do with it is the next best thing.

For that reason, I cannot express my opinion on the content inside of the War Room, but I can express my opinion on the members that speak so highly of it.

So anyways, to get to my point, I was browsing through the main section of the forum today and I came across a thread where someone was basically saying that they thought the War Room was going to be something "more" and that they were disappointed with it.

Sure enough, you get a bunch of these "Warriors" all responding and getting way too defensive that someone actually had the nerve to say that their precious War Room isn't all that great. It seems to me like they really take it personal if you don't like it or think it's not worth the money.

Now my question for you BHers is this:

How many of you have been inside the infamous War Room and can honestly say it's THAT great? I'm looking for a fresh perspective here because if you ask on the WF, all you're going to get is a bunch of biased answers.

Me personally, I learn a ton of good info from reading through the topics here on BHW as well as just the regular section of the Warrior Forum that I don't see what could possibly be so great about the WR that isn't already covered elsewhere.

So what do you guys think, all hype, or worth joining?

By the way, the thread I'm referring to can be read here: Oh I should also mention, this is by no means an attack on the WF or the members there. I read and post there too and sometimes I do find good info in the main section of the forum. I'm just speaking of the ones that are so quick to jump down other people's throats for simply saying that they don't think the War Room is all it's cracked up to be.

I'm a member of the war room (you have to to be able to post a wso). I wouldn't say that its "great" or has some "out of the world" stuff.

However, I do realize where the people who say "its great" are coming for. See, when an average person decides to make it in inernet marketing, he tries to read every pdf he can, go through every possible video series, courses possible.

For us BHWers, we have a lot of "paid" stuff in the downloads section. However, in my opinion, you need to pay for something to take the best advantage (this opinion has drastically changed over the last some months) of it (including commitment to implement the mentioned strategies). Their are a lot of warriors literally burning all their cash on every other wso they see. In the war room, their are "wso type" products and actual "wsos" available along with some really good posts. It couples for a really great stuff for an average newbie.

For me, I stopped downloading every other product a few months back - so I can only say that some of the posts in their can make a huge difference to your perspective about internet marketing.

    The War Room is over-rated

The information there isn't information you can't find elsewhere. The attraction is based on the fact that people want what they can't get or whatever seems secret.

I'm a member and I think there are too many egos in play. The place has a kind of 'seniority' or unspoken hierarchy in place. 'Old' Warriors support each other and kiss each others asses and newbies i.e. those not 'in' with the big-ego members, have to suck up to them.

You can tell people who suffer from ego issues because they refer to themselves as 'Senior Warrior Member' ... yes, they type that into their profile.

BHW has provided more learning for more people than the WF in my opinion and even though it is moderated, it is more self-regulating than the WF.

    Am I Being Fair?

    Well you judge.

I wanted to offer free interviews to WSO owners and posted the request in the War Room (basically copied a 'Senior' Warrior member's approved and used post but mine got declined.

I queried and was told to post in the 'Classifieds' AND pay $20!

When I said it was for War Room members only I was still declined. I eventually gave up because Allen's guard-dog was adamant that I had to pay $20. he even said I should make it a 'Free WSO'

So stuff the WF and long-live BHW :)

Wow I always thought the "Senior Warrior Member" title was just a title you got after being there for so long or having a certain amount of posts. I didn't know they actually put that in there themselves haha. What a joke.

I definitely know what you mean about the whole ego thing. That's kinda what I was trying to get at in my original post. They all act like you HAVE to join the War Room or else you're nothing compared to those that join it.

That's exactly why I refuse to join that damn room. I don't care to be associated with something like that and from what everyone here is saying, it ain't even what it's cracked up to be by the Warriors anyway so why waste the money? I'd rather spend it being a donor or Jr VIP here (whichever one it is that you can pay for).

I would much rather read the threads here on BHW and interact with the people here anyway. The people here are way cooler and more down to earth it seems like and you don't get bitched at or banned for talking about "sensitive" subjects. Plus there's way more content here too that's actually worth reading.

So yeah, I suspected all along that the War Room was a bunch of hype and BS, but I just wanted to hear it from others and you all have confirmed my notions. Glad to see I'm not the only one who feels that way.

Eh. I'm a member of the war room too....I thought it was going to be a little more in-depth when i paid for it than it is. That's okay though. Sometimes you can find really great stuff....most of it's junk, to be honest. Just like BHW you have to sift through a ton of garbage to find diamonds. Many of the "seasoned" marketers in there are pretty full of themselves, it's true. I paid for it because I eventually do plan on making a WSO. Not sure on what yet, as I have a wealth of knowledge about IM, Traffic, SEO, and web-based coding. Who knows. We'll see how it goes. ;)

Keep in mind that running an IM forum can be very profitable. This is especially true if you can take advantage of newcomers. That forum site does a pretty good job of doing just that. You'll notice that 99.9% of the posts are vague and generic. They want people to feel like they are truly missing out so they'll sign up and pay. Although, some people know how easy it is to sell WSOs to people so they may sign up for that reason too.

Of course, BHW doesn't dump out every possible IM secret, but you'll find free information here that's as good or better than the war room. Out of all the IM forums I've spent time on, you're truly better off spending your time and money here on BHW should you choose to donate or buy a service.

    WF is a cult.

Everybody sells to each other and if you say one bad thing you are banned.

On the other hand.. If you become popular there and are in the war room.. you make tons of money from the WSO's

Then people PM you for advice and you charge them (have customers for life)

There are so many reasons to mock WF, but at the same time the place feeds my family.

    That's not it bill.

You get the Senior Member Title once you reach a 1000 (thousand) posts.

My profile on WF says a senior member but I am not an asshole who's gonna refer to myself as "Senior Member".

It's just there because I have a 1000 posts on the forum.

The War Room is the second level of newbness. It's also a step in the wrong direction. Spending money to learn how to make money is already a bad decision, but spending money in hopes to learn a little more about how to make money is worse. Also, if you are on WarriorForum and you don't stop and think "Maybe they want me to pay that money because this "special access" is marketed towards me being a noob" then you are probably stupid.

I've been banned by WF twice.

First time by making the comment:

Dreams sell. Don't try to find gold, lie and convince others that you Know where the gold is, and the secret map to get there is only $50

    and second by

How I pointed out that David Wagenheim was a total noob, and he makes no money online whatsoever while he goes on WarriorForum and touts about being a millionare. If THAT guy is a moderator, it really shows how poor quality that forum is. I did it with more professionalism than this post, might I add. I clearly called him out and said "People believe you are a professional at what you do, and you have stated that you are a millionare. I would like to see what kind of online real estate you own." Nothing. Turns out, 90% of the people that talk to him Know he lives off of disability.

I assume people get defensive in order to justify their purchase.
I don't know of the quality, I have 5 posts in that forum as a whole. And all the posts were in the BST sections. (Which is way better in DP).

I never really dug how can a forum rule can be a 2 weeks ban for double posting (which can be a mistake). That's just stupid & what they and DP do all the time.

I see in the thread that they talk about "giving back" and "sharing". The only reason I can see people in the war room is they waning to make quick bucks, excluding the few innocent buyers. They have to justify their purchase - Rule of life.

"It's not about what you take, it's about what you give" - An example. If giving was the thing there it would not cost $60 to become a member.
Someone there wrote - " The War Room is the best investment I ever made, hands down. ". This guy have a WSO in his signature; pure proof of double morals.

Well the WR got some good stuff for the average imer but nothing shocking or magic tips. Most of the things published are outdated methods or old wsos, since they are posted for free.
The only purpose of that section id building reputation to lately sell more wsos.

Bhw definetly owns wf but im sure you guys already know it

I've been a member since the beginning. It's ok but not enought to get me there everyday. I go to the War Room once or twice per month.

Many times you get some small products that other Warrios may pay for. The vast majority of the time, they are not great products. Sometimes a few good ones but eventually these will become available here I guess.

I can't recall how much I paid but considering that is was not a recurring payment, it was a fair investment.

In summary: No magic formula inside
