I've recently had the case that one of my customers (Cloakfish) used Cloakfish to pay through paypal.
Result: paypal saw the completely different IP and suspended the payment

I asked paypal to give me information about the case so I can talk to my customer and explain the situation.
Now nearly one week passed and paypal ignored both of my mails.
The amount is still on hold.

I hope they become more professional in the future as I see no other choices for international stuff.

This is there 21 hold policy implemented a few months ago...but make sure its not a spoof the wording is a little off in this message, also get a real merchant account for your business and send invoices yourself.

I got an email today stating they where changing the way you receive emails from them but nothing about putting a hold on payment this is from an eBay auctions I have not had any problems before with transaction from egay

it is not a spoof I seen this in the paypal dashboard.

I have had transactions like 2 days ago and no hold was placed

they have been holding payments for ebay items for about a month now

I had a 455.00 payment from an ebay buyer 2 days ago and they did not place a hold on it

i try not to ever use paypal... they don't cover electronic goods

anyway the buyer had called paypal and said that ebay requested the hold and that it was on my end is why they placed a hold on the funds

they started doing that 2 months ago and it depends on your ebay rating

Same thing is happening to me. Paypusssy is holding $1200 from me. The idiots have limited my account 2 time in the last 6 months and they keep asking for me to submit the same info. The worst part is that they don't respond to emails, they just send you an auto responder message.

Yeah, that's what they told me to do too. I would have except I was selling MS products, and they canceled my listings. So, technically the transaction didn't happen and the buyers couldn't leave feedback. Now I have to wait 21 days to get my money and had to purchase and ship the products out of pocket. Then when I tried to withdraw some of the money that wasn't subject to any holds, then limited my account. It's like a pack of monkeys are running this thing...

Fuck them and the horse they rode in on.

hell I just got 2 other emails that stated that a payment was for an item of 760.00 and it was a spoof email they used the email address [email protected] and [email protected] wtf if that isn't obvious I called paypal and forwarded the emails to them

They wanted me to ship the item to Nigeria come on what ever

I think I'm going to stop using paypussy for egay and just use my own merchant account to accept payments.
