    Hey guys, I got a weird issue with Google.
    I just registered a brand new site and did some stats-blast and BMD blast.

    For example, my site is http://www.example.com
    But Google indexed it as: https://example.com

    Strangely, I do NOT have any SSL certs registered and my htaccess was configured correctly to send any visitors whom typed example.com to www.example.com. None of my backlinks are linked to https.

    Any solution or idea why is it like this?

    Had same problem before. The best solution is
    <link rel="canonical" href="http://www.example.com" />
    Must be on every page with correct page url

    It always takes some time to start anything from it's beginning.
    So you should wait for some time to let it have some proper time fortune to get started.

    Google did the same thing to one of my 10 year old sites back last year when the Panda bushwhacked it. It will eventually correct itself, the https I mean. I drove myself crazy thinking I did something wrong to cause it. lol Just try not to worry over it.
