When I go to post on BlogEngine blogs, I press submit and the progress thing says submitting comment but it just freezes, every time. Now, I see other posts getting accepted (from like the same day), so am I correct to think that BlogEngine has some sort of spam protection? If not, WTF is going wrong that makes me unable to post on BE, but others can do it fine ?

    Thanks!!

I did a crapload of posts this morning and it worked fine, I'm using SB btw.

Have you tried in a different browser? Or proxy if you think you're IP banned or something?

sometimes, the comment gets submitted but "thank you" msg does not get shown.so,better open the link again in a new tab and see if it has been published.

    How can Blogengine IP ban?

I checked in another browser, cleared cache etc. and the posts had not been published.

So it must be something to do with me / my system but I don't know what the heck it is

More important than your original question, is that Emma Watson's beaver on your avatar? :p

    More importantly? MORE IMPORTANTLY??!?!

What's more important than spamming BlogEngine? When you expertly craft a masterpiece of a comment, press submit only for it to freeze on the loading circle, what is more important than preventing such unbearable suffering?!!?!

THROW ME A ROPE. I'M SLIPPING UNDER THE WATER AND I THINK AKISMET WANTS TO PULL ME BACK UNDER. PLEASE HELP ME, AKISMET IS FOLLOWING MY WIFE AND KIDS. NO WAIT, I'M A LOSER, I DON'T HAVE A WIFE AND HENCE NO KIDS, BUT IF I DID HAVE THEM, AKISMET WOULD BE FOLLOWING THEM. I EVEN TRIED WRITING REL="NOFOLLOW" ON MY FOREHEAD BUT AKISMET STILL FOLLOWS ME. PLEASE HELP, AKISMET IS PULLING ME UNDER.

Yes it is Emma Watson's beaver, or it might be a picture of Matt Cutts' beard as he wears a pair of semi see through panties on his chin that he purchased from a ukranian panty selling website (ironically fuelled by XRUMER backlinks). The important thing is that 90% of my BlogEngine posts don't get posted, does any one have any idea WTF is going on?

I'd like to know the answer to this because I've experienced it numerous times also, on BlogEngine blogs. Have you reported me to Akismet in an attempt to take me down with you?

Try it with a proxy, as someone has already f**king pointed out. Also, from now on I'm naming all my posts "WTF *insert title here*"... Seems to be very catchy.
