All the SEO in the world won't help if your content is dreck. Unfortunately, there are too many people on the web today who haven't the slightest idea what well written prose is. There are even more people calling themselves "journalists" who have no idea what a properly structured news story is. I came down here, because while I can write, my technical shortcomings impede me. I am willing to trade: writing or editing for techie help.

Despite what many people think, the mere ability to speak English doesn't guarantee the ability to convey ideas. Writing, like anything else, is a skill. It requires practice. It requires lots of editing. It requires refreshers in grammar and structure.

In any event, if anybody has questions relating to this topic...I will endeavor to answer them. I also have a list of great resources on the web.

You better post in the JV section if you are looking to barter services.

Indeed. SEO can get someone to your site in the first place, but it can't stop them from closing the window when your content sucks.
