I have been writing SEO articles, and doing various other writing jobs for awhile now.

I was thinking of starting a website to draw people TO me and not having to go find the people.

    Is this a good idea?
If so, how should I go about it?

    Thanks in advance!

That's what SEO is all about. People come to your rather than you going to the people.
This works amazingly well because when people come to you, they're already 100% convinced they need to buy what you offer, it's just the provider that matters. You have to prove you're better than the rest and they'll purchase it from you!

yeah its a good idea, also advertising your services with that website should be extremely beneficial.

Is there a way to implement a feedback rating. So like, if the client likes what I did, other people hitting the page can see that? Building reputation is going to be the rough part.
