Hi everyone just need a little advice on wprobot

How do I populate my blog with content from a few years ago so it looks like it's been around for a while?

I am getting 3 yr old domains and don't want them to look like they just went up. Someone told me you can do that with wprobot but it was a while back so not sure if im getting mixed up.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Yeah don't bother. You'll just fool yourself and you'll be expecting results that will never come.

Yeah, you won't fool Google on site age. You can fool the visitor to some extent, but I wouldn't try for 3 years. when you set up a campaign you can bulk generate a bunch of posts with backdates for a specific frequency and time frame.

On a new site, I've usually done a month or so to get some initial content up before it gets indexed, but I don't know if that's even necessary.

    Thanks guys.

As for back dating your post by a month or so, how exactly did you do that?

On the Campaigns Option of the WP-Robot menu in your WP dashboard, there is an option below the list of campaigns with a check box to backdate. Select the check box and the campaign that you want to create backdated posts. Set the number of posts you want, the start date and the frequency. Then click the Post Now button.

It will make however many new backdated posts you have chose to be posted
