WP starter essential plugin help

Hi all

I am looking to create a new WP website to start selling educational courses. My background is academic writing

Does anyone have a newbie guide to WordPress such as how to create it and essential plugins to start with

I am exploring learndash, sensei, and wplms
Plus a few themes . Getting to grips with elementor very slowly. I didn't realise how complex it all is.
