Hello guys,
I'm in the final process of setting up my tube site. I was searching for Wordpress players that could disable URL redirects from embedded videos. I came across WPS-Player and when I asked them if the player could hide the URL redirects and play embedded videos, the person from their team who replied to me seems to be misinformed of their products.
The person told me that WPS Player only works with MP4 files uploaded to a Wordpress site and does not play embedded videos. Besides, the person told me that the player lacks capabilities to block any URL redirects. However, information from this forum shows that the player does play embedded files and blocks URL redirects.
In fact, its not only members in this forum that have mentioned it but also WPS Script themselves have acknowledged the same. As you can see from the first comment under LINK 1 and the eighth comment by ELChilito on LINK 2 confirms that it does block redirects.
You even confirm WPS Script the same under LINK 1 on the second comment.
Can people in this forum confirm for me that WPS-Player (formerly Clean Tube Player) blocks URL redirects?
