    Hey guys

    I just got Wordpress Robot and so far it seems amazing, really great. I have set up everything in there, Yahoo! Answers ID, Clickbank, Amazon etc. but I'm just wondering something.

    For content I use the Yahoo! News option and it's been pulling news for me which is great, but it's been pulling news on the particular subject from like August 2009 and January 2008 etc. Is there any way to get WP-Robot to post to the period in which the news was sent out? I know this is asking a lot as this is already an amazing plugin. I'd appreciate any advice on this one guys. Thanks always given :)

    Steve.

    And one other question I have is, is it possible to get Wp-Robot to post something at the end of each post like 'Brought to you by www.yourwebsite.com' to build some internal links?

    I'm new to using this but in my brief experiments you can add whatever you want to the posts. You need to modify the templates and choose which module you want to config. For the Yahoo News module you have a default template using the following code:

    Code:
    <strong>{title}</strong>
    {summary}
    <i>{source}</i>

    You can modify these templates to use or say whatever you want, so if you wanted to add a link at the end you would do something like

    Code:
    <strong>{title}</strong>
    {summary}
    <i>{source}</i>

    <p>Go to this link <a href="/homepage">Home</a></p>

    • Thanks Thanks x 1

    Are you able to get the full Yahoo news article or just a summary?

    I am trying to get the whole article with no success...? Anyone?

    Absolutely, just add that into whichever template in your Wp-Robot settings.
