well, I know that wp-o-matic will rip images and save local copies for auto blogging. You might be able to make it do what you want.

WP-Robot will grab images from flicker around a certain keyword and automatically create posts as well.

WP Robot can grab photos and create posts.

There's another plugin I checked out the other day, but the name escapes me. You install it, and it automatically puts a photo (based on the content or tags), in all your posts. Works for adding images to autoblogs.

Then there is a whole raft of other plugins like Zemanta (I think) that suggest content like photos and videos while you create a post. They work well, but are no good for an autoblog.

What exactly are you trying to do. If you just want all the images from a site, you could try just wgetting all the images, and sticking them in a folder with a gallery plugin that autoposts from the contents of a folder. IIRC there are a few that do this.

    YMMV

What I want to do is something like this:

    - There are 4 website which contains pics under different category
    - I also have similar category in my blog
    - Now by specifying the other website name and category it should extract the image and put it my folder (either local or embed). I dont want any content to come alongwith pics... only pics nothing else

    - Even if it does not put automatically in the designated folder, its ok, I will manage to assign category myself.

Thanks in advance. Sorry OP, I am not trying to hijack your thread but adding the relevant stuff
