    So I installed WP correctly, set up the cronjob, added 3 feeds from go*ogle's blog search for my selected keywords, and....nothing.

    I even set it to fetch every 1 minute, just so something shows up, but while it says it fetches the feed it doesn't create any posts! I get no error message either. I tried a feed right from someone's blog thinking maybe it was go*ogle's problem, but nothing.

    So, yeah. Am i thick and doing it totally wrong? Someone please help :(

    OK. I'm using feedwordpress and I'm fine with the way this works. I am trying to find some auto tagging software and found wp-auto-tagger, but I think I need to manually save the posts in order for the tags to generate and it generates way more than 3. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to automate this and limit it to 3 for use with pingcrawl

    OK update. It feedwordpress does work with wp-auto-tagger, but I can't figure out how to set the max amount of tags at 3. Also I would like to provide the source after each post just so the person I'm scraping doesn't get too pissed. Does anyone use this tool or know how to edit it. The code is pretty intense.

    why would you provide source? Thats gonna direct traffic away from yuor blog and youll just lose money and make the other guy rich.

    Use Autoblogged instead. It's a better plugin for autoblogs. :D

    I am also using this, but for some reason I can not get the damn thing to fetch feeds automatically I have to manually do it which is not really the point of an autoblog. is there an easier plugin that I could be using?

    @ alexander0884 I am providing source so that way the people I am scraping from don't complain. Also there will not be dup content penalty since I am providing source.

    @pranav1994 Also I have autoblogged, but I think you need to purchase a license don't you? Is it worth it?

    @jdoe101 feedwordpress is free and provides it. Easier to set up too. But I don't like that it doesn't provide an option to link to source at end of article. It does list the feed source as contributor in links section (necessary), but this doesn't help if you are using google blog search like me and then you want to link to the primary source.

    Since we're talking about autoblogs, has anyone tried auto blog generator, the one that makes blogger blogs supposedly on a large scale?

    To get FWP to post a link at the bottom of your post you could do something like the following (put this underneath the "the_content()" or "the_excerpt" function in your theme where it prints out the post):

    PHP:

    <?php if(function_exists('is_syndicated') && is_syndicated()): ?>

    <p><a href="<?= get_syndication_permalink(); ?>" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">[ Read more ]</a></p>

    <?php endif; ?>

    Any idea where this section or function is haha. Thats the real problem I'm having. Theres several files and several THOUSAND lines of code. When I searched for the_content and the_excerpt it didn't help much.

    I'm using Blogger Generator by Joseph Tierney. Seems to do the same thing.
    From every bunch of blogs I make I only loose a few. The rest stays in the serps.
    Once in a while I check my backlinks and blogs I made a year ago still show up.

    I read an article on someone using both proggies. Only reason he or she gives for it is a safety measure.
    When blogspot changes something either of the 2 progs will still work or there'll be a swift fix for it.

    My experience with Joseph is that he supplies updates fast whenever something changes at blogspot.
