That is what I am using. However when I go to edit the options in my couple of blogs that I use the contact form for I get this:

You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.

How can I fix this?

Edit the wp-contactform-iii.php, replace
add_action(?admin_head?, ?wpcf_add_options_page?);
with
add_action(?admin_menu?, ?wpcf_add_options_page?);

Thanks for that. I have a new question though.
Now: 'contact form' has disappeared from my settings menu.

You are correct. cforms II is the absolute best contact form plugin for wordpress. have used it on hundreds of sites wouldnt consider using anything else. Check it out.

I wouldn't get stuck on any plugin, let alone a contact form one. Just use another one, there are plenty of good ones. -contact form 7?
