Hi, I created a wp blog a few days ago and made a few good articles, optimized it for seo etc and ran a indexer program that got a bunch of quick backlinks. Now when I enter the url in google with quotes it shows a link to me on over 100 sites but I cant see my own website homepage or any other page, I tried multiple search engines with the same result.

I am thinking it has to be either the wp theme im using(alyeska) or a plugin I have, I have security checked to allow search engines to see my site, it was off before while I was building.

plugins im using are - Prettylink, social share, w3 total cache, wp greet box, wpsmush, broken link checker, favicon, clicky, google xml, prettylink, cbnet ping optimizer, allinoneseo, akismet

it has only been 2 days but with non wordpress sites I develop after I run the indexer programs im in within an hour(also friend that does wp and runs the same program said the same thing), and it did index backlinks to my site just not my site itself so something must be wrong?

I had a problem like this whit a domain that had been deindexed by google the last time it was used. I got it indexed after submitting the site for reconsideration, so maybe it's that?

edit:nvm, just realized the blog would still index on other search engines... Maybe you just need to wait.

Just run it through pingler, then jump over to fiverr and buy 100 diggs... Indexed.

I thought it was just a matter of waiting, but google did index all of my backlinks, I have over 100 when I search my domain name. I am thinking my indexer, and i ran a similar service to pingler maybe popped up a red flag for the search engines. Bah frustrating stuff

Make sure in your WP blog settings you set it to be indexed by the search engines. It's on by default, but you could have turned it off by mistake.

Under security its set to allow 100%, i checked the theme because I thought maybe it had set it to disallow internally but there is no setting.

going to setup a similar website however with a different theme and no plugins and ill see if it indexes to test if one of those are causing the problem.

This has happened to me plenty of times before. What I ended up figuring out was that the domain was deindexed before I bought it. Than it just stayed that way after I did the reconsideration request it eventually got indexed but it took a while. ;/

    Oops you said all SE's

Edit: Well, I know Bing/Yahoo is very very slow to index stuff
