    Hi guys.

I'm new to IM so I'm trying to get some opinions from you guys.
I'm planning to start a WP autoblog, with a niche/ micro niche keyword (still researching) and I'm thinking if it'll be viable.

I'm not looking to make big bucks here, a few $ a month will suffice for starting out. I've heard recommendation to go for other sites for small amount of money like fivver, which will earn me more. But I want to start out with blogging, which has more potential to grow.

So is starting out with a WP autoblog a good start? And I'm having some trouble getting niche/ micro niche/ long tail keywords. I would appreciate any help that you guys have to offer on this topic.

    Thanks.

I had the same experience as you when i started out so what i did was I made an autoblog about abroad niche, like for example, fashion then i looked at the keywords i am getting traffic, researched them and made an autoblog about those micro keywords. It may take a while but its worth it.

If I was new I'd not start with an Autoblog. Write unique / good content and start a manual Blog. After you've done it manually for a while then start to think about Autoblogs. Autoblogs are not a guaranteed way of making money unless they're done correctly and with limited experience it's likely you'll bugger it up :)

This is a good idea. One question though. With a broad topic like this, how did you get any traffic to analyse? Do you use Google Analytics?

Hi. I'm unable to PM now as I do not have enough post. But you can add me on msn. It's on my contact page. Well, I've tried that, most are really broad topics, the rest are names of companies. It's a good idea nonetheless. I'm interested in your autoblog plugin. Do add me to discuss.

Hi. I'm thinking of a semi-autoblog. Some manual content, and some auto content. I'm planning to get the plugin setting to make sure I approve the content before posting. This will free up some time for me to do more research as I feel that I need to learn more stuff to make the blog a successful one. Do feel free to add me on MSN. Maybe a JV, you'll come up with idea, I'll do the work, and split the profit.

    Autoblogs don't make any money.
Those who say they do are liars.

Hi, the main reason for an autoblog is to free up some time to do research. Something to act as a motivator, even if it's earning a few cents. At the stage I'm in now, I could do with some suggestions too. I do have some experience in programming and web design. What would you suggest is the better path to take?

I'll repeat what I've said. Create a normal Blog (not auto) add good quality content / On page SEO and start slowly backlinking. There are many posts on backlinking just search for them.

More important is keyword research / selection / niche / can I make any money if this website ranks No 1.

Creating rubbish that'll never get indexed / ranked isn't going to motivate you and anyways you should already be motivated. If your not give up now because it's a long and hard road with many dissapointments along the way. You'll make a bit, lose a bit always looking to improve and make a bit more. Over time you'll get the hang of what works for you and scale it up making more money.

Do not think this is a get rich quick scheme BH or WH it takes experience and at least in my case time to experiment and discover what works and what doesn't
