    Hi guys

I am looking for some help here.

I want to be able to put up WP sites with membership functionality.

I also want to automate the promotion of the site after I have done an initial bit of promotion with maybe giving the blog a 'shot-in-the-arm' in terms of promotion every couple of months.

Can any experienced blogger (user of WP) tell me the best plug ins they use so I can sort of replicate their method.

Even just any good experience with one or two plugins that help keep traffic coming to their site would be good.

Also, I want to be able to put these sites up quickly so I have got from here today the WP tool that allows quick installation of a working wp profile including plugins so when i do have the ultimate blog I should be able to replicate it quickly.

    Anyone??

    All the best

no I already did the search thing and I actually have a lot of pluging but I am wanting to use other peoples experience to tell me what to spend my time on

I have been earning fulltime online for 7 years and jumping into things when I have a wealth of experience here is not worth it.....in fact thats why I'm here - to learn from people better than me who have been there and done it

    thanks for you input anyway

You cannot replicate it quickly .. yea you can download list of useful plugins and themes to your HD .. then gotta spend hours to customize it!

Anyway I have been with wp for 2 years now.. used most of the popular plugins.. well the list is quite huge.. all in one seo.. seo page slug.. seo images.. title tags.. lots more

Moreover if u are starting with wp just now then you gotta install some basic plugins too.. the hard part is customizing.. takes a lot of time depending on the plugins you install ....

    hi sidddd
    Thanks for that.
I understand where your coming from but there is a software that can take your existing blog with the adding and replicate that very quickly.

It's here on bhw. So I agree the first one will take a while but after that it should be quite fast.

Have a look around as it looks great

In your opinion, if you were to install just one plunging what would that one be?

wp-cloner might be something you're looking for. it replicates existing installs of wp making new ones very easy to develop.

Hmm never knew about the wp cloner plugin.. will check that :)

Anyway I would install this as the minimum requirement for a wp plugin..

    1. All in one seo plugin
    2. Seo images

Seriously All in one seo plugin works pretty well.. make a search on how to use if effectively :)

I gotta agree "global translator" is good. I got a chinese site once that put a link on their site to mine and I was getting 1000 - 1500 hits per day due to that one link for a couple weeks.
"Wassup" is also great for finding out what search terms people are using to find your site and then you can add those terms to your categories, tags, etc.
"Caffeinated Content" is also pretty good for auto posting. -NOT FREE (Or is it??? :D)
    "Akismet" to fight spam comments
    "Add This" Social Bookmarking Widget
"Google XML site maps" must have
"WP tags to technorati" must have
"Ultimate Google Analytics" need an analytics account (FREE)
    "All In One SEO Pack"
    "Adsense Manager"
"WP adm-anager" banner and javascript ad manager
"Wordpress Duplicate Content Cure" This depends on if you auto blog a lot. Sometimes you will get the same post 3 or 4 times on your blog. This keeps the search engines from seeing them all.
"WP Sticky" if you want to be able to use sticky posts
I think thats all...If I think of anymore, I'll let you know.

Global translator can cause some issues if you have a lot of posts and you are trying to translate into a large number of languages. I usually translate into 3 or 4 other languages.

I like the platinum seo plugin vs the All In One SEO Pack

Global translator doesnt always translate that well.. sometimes the server translation goes down but google still indexes it.. like youdomain.com/ro youdomain.com/jp .. and the page will be down..

I dont recommended global translator.. but it is a matter of preference.. :)

for those that have commented on Global Translator and the fatc that you dont use it. My Question is what other translator are you using?

If you are going to say 'None' then basically you are losing out on content and traffic!
